ADHD testing, therapy, coaching, and VA Nexus Letters — delivered by licensed professionals who understand your goals and deliver real results.
Whether you're seeking answers, healing, accountability, or benefits documentation — we have the expertise to help.
Stop wondering and start knowing. Our comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations are conducted by licensed psychologists and go far beyond a simple questionnaire.
Evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and life transitions. We meet you where you are and build a path forward together.
Therapy explains the "why" — coaching builds the "how." Our ADHD coaches help you design systems, build habits, and create the structure your brain craves.
Our psychologists write medically and legally sound nexus letters that connect your service history to your current diagnosis — giving you the best shot at the benefits you've earned.
Three steps from first contact to feeling supported — no gatekeeping, no long waitlists.
Schedule a 15-minute call at no cost. We'll learn about your needs, answer your questions, and match you with the right service and provider.
Receive your intake paperwork and complete a brief intake session. We confirm your insurance, gather history, and build your care plan.
Begin your evaluation, therapy sessions, coaching program, or receive your completed nexus letter — all via secure telehealth from anywhere.
Nova Mental Health was founded by licensed psychologists who were tired of the mental health system moving too slowly for people who needed real answers now. We built a practice that combines clinical rigor with genuine human care.
Every evaluation is thorough. Every therapy relationship is intentional. Every nexus letter is built to win. We don't cut corners — because your life and your benefits deserve better.
Don't take our word for it — hear from clients whose lives have genuinely changed.
"I spent years wondering why my brain worked differently. The ADHD evaluation at Nova finally gave me a diagnosis, a detailed report, and a real plan. I cried reading it — someone finally understood me."
"I submitted my VA claim twice and got denied both times. Nova's nexus letter was the difference. Six weeks after submitting it, I got a 70% rating. The detail and medical citations were next level."
"ADHD coaching with Nova completely changed how I approach my workday. I went from missing deadlines constantly to actually finishing projects early. The systems they taught me still work two years later."
"My therapist at Nova is everything I needed — she's warm, direct, and actually holds me accountable. I've tried therapy before and it never felt like this. Progress is real and measurable."
"As someone with ADHD, I always dreaded paperwork-heavy processes. Nova handled everything — the intake, the testing, the report, and even the school accommodation letter. It was shockingly easy."
"I was skeptical about telehealth for something as important as a psych evaluation. Nova's process was so thorough and professional — I actually preferred it over in-person. My report was in my hands within 4 days."

A nexus letter is a medical opinion written by a licensed clinician that establishes a connection between your current mental health condition and your military service. If the VA has denied your claim or you're filing for a mental health condition (PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, etc.) for the first time, a strong nexus letter can be the deciding factor. Our letters are written by licensed psychologists, cite peer-reviewed literature, and address all three nexus criteria required by the VA.
No — they serve different purposes. Therapy focuses on emotional processing, mental health symptoms, and underlying patterns. ADHD coaching is skills-based and practical: we build systems for time management, organization, task initiation, and follow-through. Many clients benefit from doing both — coaching accelerates the practical changes while therapy provides emotional depth. Coaching is also not billed to insurance, making it accessible regardless of your plan.
We are currently licensed to provide telehealth services in California, Florida, Oregon, and Idaho. ADHD coaching and VA Nexus Letters (which are document services rather than clinical treatment) may be available to clients in additional states. Please book a free consult to discuss your specific situation and we'll let you know what's available in your state.
All our sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted video platform. You'll receive a secure link before each appointment — no special app download required. You'll need a device with a camera, microphone, and a private space. Telehealth has been shown to be equally effective as in-person care for therapy, ADHD evaluations, and coaching, and offers the added convenience of attending from home or work.
